The most significant concerns regarding the Boxer are cancer and heart problems.

Here are some common diseases and conditions in the Boxer breed:

***Note: Important research shows that stress is probably the cause of bloat and torsion is the reponse to bloat. To help prevent bloat, use a "meat based diet (raw or kibble) as well as probiotics, digestive enzymes and dietary enzymes***

-Cardiomyopathy: a serious heart condition in which the heart muscle becomes weak and enlarged.

-Mast cell tumors: malignant tumors that can occur in the skin or within the body.
