BUCK IS ADOPTED!!!

You may remember Buck from his starring role in "Turner and Hooch" - just kidding - and wait - Hooch wasn't a boxer! He was a Dogue de Bordeaux! Yes it is true - our Buck resembles a DDB from certain angles - however he  is very much a boxer. Whether he has a little something else in him we will never know and whatever it is it's certainly not enough to state that Buck is a mix since he just looks like a very large boxer. Buck is a charming approx 3yr old fawn boy. He is a very big guy but is as friendly as they come. The poor darling was found as a stray so his history is unknown. He then spent a month being transferred between shelters and was never claimed. Finally, his time was up and he was going to be euthanised - but a kind friend he made during his stay at the pound called Boxer Rescue Quebec - and he made his way to safety.

Buck is crate trained, good with other dogs (but can play rough so dogs must be tolerant), he knows basic commands, and pulls on leash when excited.  He has been exposed to children over 10 yrs old so far during his stay with BRQ and just loves them. However since he is quite large and can be boisterous, BRQ will not consider applicants with children under that age.

Buck will be neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested, dewormed and have a health exam before adoption.

Buck is looking for a real home where he can relax and be his goofy self. He loves to gallop around the yard with his tongue hanging out and play with stuffy toys. He especially loves his Kong filled with peanut butter!  BUCK IS ADOPTED!!!
