Duke is a gorgeous 7yr old boy who was found as a stray and the poor soul had to spend 3 weeks at the pound waiting for a family who never claimed him. When he was faced with euthanasia he was lucky enough to find his way to BRQ and he is now safe and sound! When he got here, he needed a big dental surgery to remove some rotten teeth. Besides that he is a healthy boy and has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm tested negative so he is ready for his new home!
Duke is currently in a foster home with other boxers and even cats (!) - he is very good with both. He would be a great addition to any home. He is clean in the house, good in the car and stands nicely for a bath :0) He was a favourite among the staff at the vet clinic and is a real heartbreaker. He has a gorgeous short fawn coat with a white mask and white "frosting" along the top of his back. He may be mixed with Great Dane - he is tall and lanky with a real Dane shaped nose. Since he can't speak, we'll never know for sure! All we know is that he is 100% cute! Duke knows sit, paw, lay down and we are still discovering what else.
