Brutus is available for adoption! - Brutus is adopted!

Brutus is a gorgeous young male boxer who was rescued on the south shore by a kind family after being found as a stray. The family is currently caring for him while he waits for his forever home. Brutus is kind, loving, and adores attentio
n. He is good with small dogs, but not so much with bigger dogs. He is friendly with everyone he meets and does not mind sharing his toys or food with his humans. He can stay home alone. Brutus is up to date with his vaccines and will be neutered prior to adoption. If you are interested in Brutus, please contact us at info@boxerrescuequebec.com and we will put you in touch with his rescuers. Please note that Brutus is not currently under BRQ's care.

Cassy has had quite the ordeal but things are finally looking up for her! Please read her story!

A few weeks ago BRQ rescued a very special little boxer girl in terrible pain and distress from what our vet called "the second worst case of allergies I have ever seen". Well we are extremely pleased to say that so far, Cassy's new diet, and the great care of her foster mom, have greatly improved Cassy's quality of life. Read Cassy's story and check out her amazing BEFORE and AFTER photos here:http://boxerrescuequebec.com/cassy.cfm

Rover, the sweetest boy EVER would love a home for the holidays!

Rover is a lovely senior boxer boy who will make an awesome family member! He would LOVE to have a home for the holidays. Rover is loving, well behaved, great with other dogs and children. He has great energy and loves to play.

He was fou
nd wandering as a stray and sadly no one cared enough to claim him. Well those days are over because he is safe and loved now in his BRQ foster home, getting top notch care while waiting for his forever family to find him. If you might be that family, please APPLY HERE

Tigger would love to find a forever family!

Tigger is a dream!  He came to BRQ when his elderly owner fell ill and could no longer care for him.  He’s been with me for a week now and has adapted incredibly well.  He has very good manners – doesn’t surf the counters, doesn’t get into the garbage, doesn’t drink from the toilet, doesn’t go on the furniture, and so far, hasn’t jumped on my guests.  He’s already learned not to pull me on walks.  He’s super happy to see me when I come home and will follow me around the house, wanting to partake in whatever I am doing.  He often curls up at my feet when I’m working on the computer or reading.  He’s afraid of large *things* (it’s pretty random, but so far these have been big panel vans, ladders, and neighborhood mailboxes.... but thankfully not the vaccum!) and sudden, loud noises (trucks, buses, the garbage disposal for example) so I think a quieter home would be best for him, but he can definitely be with other dogs and probably would like to be as well (he gets along great with my guys).   He might be an older dog, but he has a lot of spunk!!  He’s definitely going to make someone very happy! Smile

*We are in urgent need of foster homes*.
Foster homes make Boxer Rescue Quebec possible.  All our boxers are kept in the home of volunteers.   We provide all the necessary supplies and a crate.  You supply the love, care, and enthusiasm.  Learn more on our fostering page.

Unfortunately, many of our rescues come to us with serious (and expensive) health issues.  Help us help them by making a donation of any amount to Boxer Rescue Quebec.  100% of your donations will go to paying for the care of our foster dogs.  Visit our donate page to make your tax-deductible donation online.
