Moe is a dream! He is well behaved, can be left loose in the house when you leave, he gets along with other dogs but does not like cats! The poor guy was found as a stray in the country and no one ever claimed him. BRQ was called, his foster mom him picked up and he has not looked back :0) Moe gets along with his pug and Boston Terrier foster brothers. He is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested, dewormed. The vet estimates his age at apprx 6-8 yrs old. He runs and plays outside but inside he’s really calm, likes to sleep/relax and get a good rub. He puts his head on your lap and looks at you with the softest eyes. He greets people like their best friends and they all love him.
Moe needs a fenced in yard and he is not a good boy when he is off leash. He thinks it is a game and wants you to run and catch him. Therefore Moe is looking for a family that understands boxers need to be on leash or in a safe and fenced in area. Moe would prefer a home with calm dogs, not cats and no children under 15 yrs old - younger ones make him very nervous.
Moe has recently been diagnosed with arthritis in his spine - he is doing very well and pain free on medication that is apprx $23/month.
