Timon is a neutered, healthy male boxer and his birthday is September 23rd. Sadly he is looknig for a new home because due to pregnancy, his owner can no longer take her allergy medication and her allergies have become very severe. His family loves him very much and will be very sad to see him go.
Even though he is 8 years of age, Timon is a dog full of energy that loves to play, walk and bathe in the sun! Like a typical boxer, he does not like to go out in the rain or in snow storms.
Timon has very sensitive paws during the winter time. So when we go outside to walk with him, we have to put on little snow shoes to protect his paws from the salt and cold.
Favourite treats are: cheese (we put in his « Kong ») and any kind of dog cookies!
He loves to chew on big bones. We can even ask him to go get the bone “Va chercher le nonosse”
We normally take at least a 20 min walk with him everyday. If you want him to walk right beside you, you just have to say “marche aux pieds”.
If Timon wants attention, he will stand right in front of the TV :0) Sometimes he will “talk”. He does not like to be petted on top of his head, but he loves to be petted on his little derriere! He also likes the belly when he is laying down.
When Timon needs to go out, he will stand in front of any outside door to let us know. He has NEVER had a accident inside the house.
He does not eat or chew on anything in the house either; he has his toys and bones to do that. We have to make sure he understands he is not coming with us, so we talk to him we tell him “tu restes ici” a few times and when he understands he goes and lies down on his bed.
Timon is a dominant dog. He gets along great with kids and adults, but not other dogs. He has a few dog friends but he's selective so he's not a dog park kind of dog!
