Ashton has stunning good looks on his side! He is certainly once of the most handsome boxers we have ever seen come into rescue. He is a large, flashy brindle, 2 yr old boy. He knows how to "Sit" and has a lot of playful energy. His new family needs to be committed to helping Ashton understand the lovely world that was waiting for him outside the puppy mill walls from which he was saved.

Ashton is a little insecure and lacks some social skills with other dogs, however, he is good friends with his female partner Sally, who is also up for adoption with BRQ. He will need socialization, lots of exercise, positive leadership and training. He is a sweet smart boy, very trainable, willing to learn- in other words, he needs and wants a job to do!  He is affectionate and extremely loveable. His eyes tell you everything!

Ashton can be fearful of new people and new environments, undoubtedly from lack of prior exposure when he was behind the puppy mill walls. This may have caused him not to initially trust when encountering someone or something new, but once he has been properly introduced, he warms up to them quickly. No cats please- they make Ashton nervous and he will chase them.
