Sally, affectionately nicknamed Mamma, is just a big bundle of love. She is warm, friendly and always smiling:o) She is without a doubt the single most affectionate girl we have ever had in rescue and is a pleasure to care for. It is as if she is constantly thanking us for getting her out of the awful puppy mill from which she was rescued! This girl just wants to be cuddled 24/7. She knows how to "Sit". Sally is a Boxer mix (other breed unknown), fawn, about 5 - 6yrs old and the poor girl has been bred and bred...and bred. She is spayed now and will never again have to produce a litter of puppies for profit!

The focus Sally will give you is incredible.  She is very easy to care for, and is not overly active.  She never jumps up. Her favourite thing to do is to lay at your feet as your do your chores, or rest her head in your lap as you watch t.v. Sally walks very nicely on leash. She never barks. She can be left loose when you leave the house. And when you come home, she will fold herself in two and wiggle her bum like no other!

Sally needs a family who can give her calm and positive leadership in a loving and structured environment. She is looking for a home with no other dogs as she is very keen on gobbling up all the attention for herself and being the main focus of her family. She is ok when other dogs are around, but if they are overly exuberant, pushy and in her face, she does not like it. She has been with her partner Ashton for a long time and they are good friends, but she does get very annoyed when he becomes exuberant and is all over her.  When out running in a safe fenced in area, Sally has been very good at recall!
